Has anyone used a RootTrapper container, or a similar air pruning/trapping system to grow veggies? They are most used commercially for trees and othe woody plants, but it makes so much sense to me for everything. E.g. Recently, I planted some tomato seeds in 3-ounce Dixie cups; two weeks later when I potted them up, they were completely root bound! The RootTrapper, and others like it are designed to prevent this and promote a fibrous network of roots instead.
Anyone have experience or other comments? Thanks in advance.
