Transporting Brick Pavers

My parents won a bunch of pavers at an auction a couple of years ago. They used some of them, but still have about 2 pallets left. They said we could have them if we wanted them. I definitely want them -there are about 600 of them and my husband and I want to rework the back patio area of our new house.

Our conundrum is how do we get them from their house to ours. They live about 2 hours away and their drive is a dirt one that is about 1/4 mile long. The bricks weigh about 6lbs each (my mom graciously weighed one :) ) They are currently wrapped on 2 pallets. What we're thinking is to get the local landscaping company to bring their forklift and load them onto a vehicle and we will transport them to our house and get another forklift to unload the pallets. The question is: what is our transport vehicle for the bricks? We figure they probably weigh about 5,500 lbs in total. We have a Chevy Express 2500 van that might be able to pull one (both?) pallets on a trailer. What kind of trailer?

We really want the pavers but are having problems figuring out just how to get them to our house.

Help! :)
