I just built an arbor in my backyard - 10ft wide, 9ft high, 3ft deep. I am very happy with how things turned out. It is located off the edge of my back patio and marks the "entryway" into the backyard. As I look at it, I cant help but think it would look really good with some kind of subtle outdoor lighting (perhaps uplighting)but I really havent seen this done before that I can recall. Any opinions from the experts as to whether this is a good idea to light an arbor in this way and if so how it could be tastefully accomplished?
