Hello, I was reading that pine trees may die if the roots/trunk are covered up. We need to fill our yard right where this pine tree is. I dug out around the trunk and thought I put a retaining wall to keep the dirt off. Am I doing this correctly to maximize the chances of survival, or should I do something else? Thank you!
