I raise full size, but am familar with the little guys. They will be able to plow it just fine. Trick is you're gonna have to start and stay small. The minute it's turned over get 'em off of it or they'll pack it down. I don't think I would mess with electric fence (I just don't like the stuff) If I were doing this I would use (4) 16' X 3' Hog panels - 16' sq. feet is as large as I would go. Then I would get 8 pallets. Put 2 pallets on each corner, wired (remember you have to be able to undo this) together to make a 90` angle. This will be your "fence post". Then wire (I use baling wire) the hog panels to the inside of these making a box. Be sure to put the pallets on the outside of the fence or they will become a tasty treat for your pigs. The dog igloos make a great pbpig house and will provide shade for them. 2 pbpigs will live in this just fine, probably move it every other day? Just have to watch and see. 1 pig will do the job, but they are very social animals & prefer not to be alone.

i never thought about plowing up a garden area...good idea..
but i do know that the wild hogs can sure "plow" up a good pasture in no time
