Because of the size of some sasbe's they must be hand postmarked and sometimes they just slip by.

Ah,ok I was wondering if the post office had some new laser that didn't show the post mark or something like that.

I just rec one with $1.47 on it and none were cancelled. I'm gonna treat a newbie to some seeds 'on' me and the PO. I can't feel bad for it either after so many folks have been so overcharged for so long.

I wonder why there seems to be a rash of them lately.

almost every envelope I get has uncancelled stamps on it and I asked our post office lady and she said "use em", lol

Take advantage of free postage! It happens quite a bit because they don't like having to hand cancel them instead of running them through the machine.

It happens to me weekly.I'm not complaining though.

one time i got my seeds from erin, all the way from illinoise, ya know, not one single post mark on it, just like it was sent from here in town, i'm so not kidding, i told my hubby that is so wierd!!! be careful if you do reuse them stamps, turn them to the side where the light will slide over them good, you can see a very slight mark. that's how i learned a new trick they have. :')) don't know what it is, but it's like a very light post mark on the stamp. i saw it on the foil type mother mary one. i told hubby if i wanted to use this i could, and of course he told me about fraud and how long i could be in prison and all that crap, and they have ways of catching you, bla bla bla, MEN!!!!!! so my curious mind LOL i'm really looking it over and low and behold what do i find!! SH** i sure as heck didn't even think about it!!! ahhhhhh!!!! whew!! so he bought me more stamps!! LOL all in all, please check them over!! LOL :'))

Well yeah I'll give the stamps a once over before I re use them.Its a shame but the post office has it coming.I've been over charged by po many of times,then I have had PLENTY of stuff sent back to me that was cancelled because of a matter of 2-5 cents! When I asked about just paying the difference I was treated like some sort of con artist.
