Anyone else discovered these? They're 'one size fits all' gloves woven from lightweight cotton twine. Others must have discovered them in my area because they really disappear from the shelves. My best source has been Walkmart where I found them at $4/dz pr this spring.

I use them in planting seedlings, transplanting and a hundred other things. When they get crudded up I just wash them out (on my hands) in a pail of water...letem dry in the sun. If they get a hole I use them as dedicated 'roundup' gloves...rubber glove then the cotton one spraying the cotton one and using it to apply weedkiller to grass in my beds rather than trying to dig it out. Once a week or so I just throw throw the dirty ones in the washer for a light load. These things are great! thin enough to 'feel', breathe, and cheap enough I'm not too bothered if I put one down (as I'm prone to do with tools etc. in the yard (fluoro Or duct tape is another post).
