It is nice to see someone who actually has real life experience to share, lol... I have been wanting to do the same thing you did but I had trouble finding fabric paint.....I found an additive you can add to regular craft paint to make it fabric worthy... where did you find your paint? Didn't it take a large quantity of paint? That is what kept me from trying the acrylic/additive ; I thought I would need 20 bottles of craft paint, lol..... it was very nice of you to follow up and let us know your results......

i got my fabric paint at michael's. it is expensive, here in canada it was 9.99 for a small bottle, but i got some on sale at 2.50 each. it took about 3/4 of a bottle for each chair cover. but i only did one side, so they are reversible. unfortunatly there were only 3 bottles of the color (olive, which is really pretty in my color scheme) so when i did the first one i knew i wouldnt have enough for the fronts and backs of all 4 cushions.

they still look nice just the one half painted. i will try and take a photo and upload it for you, but ive had problems doing that.

i was actually looking for the fabric medium that you add to any paint to make it fabric paint, but couldnt find any. lie, i found a tiny bottle and the ratio was really high, it would have taken 20 bottles like you said.

i am suprized and pleased with the results and based on my experience recommend it.
