my wife wanted to have some branches from our corkscrew willow for decoration. so i pruned it to a desired shape and gave her the cuttings. she put them in a vase in early december. they start rooting and sprouting leaves like crazy. most of them still going strong in late january (a month and a half later!). great idea for a live centerpiece if you happen to have something similar.
