Pumpkin & Summer Squash aborting .......

So I had a volunteer pumpkin come up and has been growing very nicely. The first 7 pumpkins were polinated and set fruit no problem. I really don't need any more, but decided to just leave it alone to see what happens. Now I'm noticing that all female flowers growing are shrivling and dropping. Every single one!

I went to check my summer squash that I've taken 7 patty pan off of so far, and suddenly the females are doing the same on the squash.

On both plants, the female blossoms aren't even 1/2 the maturity that they would be when opening, so these are both aborting the females super early.

Any thoughts? I'll be really bummed if my patty pan give up on me now as they just started producing!

Both plants look SUPER healthy!
