My question is why misting on plants already rooted? I've not found that necessary. Simple drip would work and keep the water off the leaves. I'd be more concerned with excess humidity causing issues than pH 4.5 water on the leaves. But I've never done either myself so it's just my instincts.

If your native water is high in bicarbonates yes I would say you would need to acidify the water. As Steve said no need at all to mist rooted liners.

I previously had the mist system set up for
other plants. I would just do it for simplicity.
It would take a lot more work to run irrigation lines
to 100 gallon size plants. I would only be using
the mist system when the soil drys out.

BB leaves tend to have fungal issues so it would not be ideal to wet the leaves more than needed.
