My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Newbie with questions - peat, coloring agents

I admit I have yet to make any hypertufa. Before I do, I need/want tofind out some things.

1) The recipes in the FAQ section list peat as an ingredient. Is this the black Michigan variety or the Canadian sort that is basically chopped-up sphagnum?

2) I ahve not been impressed by the color of the hypertufa I have seen. Has anyone made colored hypertufa? What colors and what coloring agents?
