As in using old wicker baskets for molds, if so it's been done here. Or adding willow branches for handles??

Not being a -- what term did I see on this forum? -- mudslinger?, I don't know if it is a new idea or not, but the article had pictures of different types of containers, some made using wicker baskets as molds. First time I noticed MSL featuring 'tufa stuff. If history repeats itself, those of you who are selling your work may be hit with lots of orders from new fans of the medium.

Martha (or, more accurately, the people that do all the work for her :>)) are behind the times. We've been using wicker baskets for troughs for years. All sorts of things can be inserted for "handles" altho, I tell my customers they are more decorative than anything and not to pick up the trough with them as I am afraid they may break out. I regularly raid an old dump (like a 100 year old one) on the property to pick up odds and ends of cast iron, tractor parts, etc. to insert for interest.
