I had to do that with sawdust last year!! I set a old window screen on workhorses and put about 1/3 of the bag of sawdust on it. over the day I kept moving it around and when it was dry I put it in a bag and refilled the screen! I bet that would work for peat moss too!

Thanks, will try that. Had thought a bought putting it on a cooking sheet in a warm oven with the door cracked. Maybe not a good idea. Don't guess I'll be starting that any hypertufa projects this weekend. Shoot, am chomping at the bit to start, with ideas whirling around in my head.

II dont think it would hurt to start a project. Its gonna get wet when you mix it all up with water anyway!! You just might not need as much water. I was just thinking for mold issues if you dont use it all right away!

Was just thinking of trying to sift the wet peat moss to get the lumps and twigs out. Thanks for the replies..
