Im a newbie to concrete and hypertufa. I have researched and found lots of great info but need a little more. I have decided to make a statue of a lion for our front yard. I will plant some summer flowers around it. My husband wants a real one and this I thought would be cool. I want it life size. I dont want a solid concrete statue. So then, the hypertufa. I am guessing because of the size, I will need to make the original form out of say chicken wire. I dont know that I can find styrofoam that big. If anyone can help me with this process, I sure would appreciate it. I would like to try and get it done by fathers day. Not sure if thats possible but going to try. He is overseas and he will hopefully be home by then. Thank you in advance.
