blueberry problems

Hey guys Im having some blueberry growing problems. I have had some success mixed with some problems. My highbush spreading bushes have done well. Lots of growth and production over the last three years as they are on yr 3. I bought some bushes last April that were erect bushes. They showed some drought stress syptoms last yeear as the leaves were drying on the edges. One died recently, and the other one that I pruned back to the ground is starting over with some new growth. I have acidifed the soil but its been a slow process using elemental sulfur. I fertilize in very late winter with soybean meal, and alfalfa meal. I also use neptunes harvest to spay them every other weeek. That is the new aspect of fertilizing and am just starting that method. I just dont see enough new growth on some of the bushes. Are they not getting enough nutrients? The bushes that have done the best are the ones that I got from the big box stores, rather than the nursery. I can give much more detailed descrption if anyone is interested. thanks so much
