Whether you use hyertuffa or stucco.. basically what you are planning to do is in the realm of stucco.. or could otherwise be described as stucco.

Definitly I would use an acrylic admix. Available with the cement etc. At hardware stores and big wharehouse style hardware stores. Sometimes I use acryl 60, and sometimes I use sikaflex. You should use some in the mix, and brush some onto the cinderblock. This will help it bond the cinderblock to the cement layer.

This is one I saved from past postings....she had covered the blocks with chicken wire and then the hyperufa.
