about 2 years ago I was messing with quikcrete,
poured it into a mask and it turned out pretty good.
will post it with my groto outcome.

Hi Deb. Welcome. I'm new here too and I already love this place. If you've played with quickcrete before, you're gonna LOVE what tufa looks like. Piece o'cake. Give your grot a good brushing with a stiff wire brush to get that natural stone look. Also, you should consider adding some colorant to your mix (avail.in the concrete section of Home Depot). If you don't, after the piece dries completely, it's still going to look like concrete until you get up close. Have fun, that's what it's all about.

Funny thing my SO left for work the day I was first playing around with quikcrete. I was making a "rock" like garden border with a smallish patio made of the same blobs under the bird feeder.
