The pond was finished last summer, along with the waterfall. The sides of the waterfall were done this summer. I really lost count of the number of days I spent on this ! (Several months, over weekends and evenings).
The "mountain" is really a shell made of rebars bent and covered with metal lath.
Over this, I applied burlap coated in cement (learned the technique from 'fake rock' ideas posted elsewhere on this site). Finally, I applied
Different combinations of hypertufa. I wish I knew how to get more vibrant colors !!. The waterfall itself is liner covered with rocks, sand, and concrete. I also made some troughs
For the plants.

This looks great! I want to see more pictures... close ups..... different angles, ,,, around the back,,,,, the sides,,,,, etc.
Is there any chance you have time to add some more photos?

When you say you wish you could make more vibrant colors of hypertufa... are you willing to paint the finished product or do you want the colors to be part of your mix when you apply it?
