The GardenWeb forums have become GLACIAL in their slowness. At first, I thought it was my computer, but none of the other boards I participate in are anywhere near this slow.

Not just you!
With our dial-up adding to the slowness,and all the ad content on the page,we have the same problem.
But....
Slow or not,we DO keep in touch!Besides,at my age,taking things slower is best.

I find it hangs on the ads sometimes but appears as quick as always on my DSL connection.
Rick I have a friend on dialup who says it's worth it to pay for a GardenWeb membership. It speeds it up quite a bit according to her.

Mine is OK since I installed the Google Earth program, added bonus was blocking pop ups.

Loads fine for me and I am wireless, but I have a membership. No popups, ads, nothing to slow your down. Come on, you love garden web. Your aught to support it, and when you do, no more annoying ads!
