I would think, this time of year, that you could repot it if you were so inclined, though if you like it as a hanging plant, there's probably no reason to move it. Personally, I think they look kind of weird as hanging plants, and prefer them trained to climb on a pole, but do what you want to do.

Monsteras are among the easier indoor plants (also one of my very favorites, not that it's relevant); it's hard to think of specific instructions. But let's try:

LIGHT: Bright artificial or filtered sunlight are probably the best, though they'll adapt to less, given enough time.

HUMIDITY: They appreciate, but don't seem to require, above-normal humidity.

WATER: Water when the top half-inch to inch of soil is dry.

TEMPERATURE: Normal to warm temperatures (60 to 85ish). They're fairly forgiving about being in drafts and so forth.

PROPAGATION: Cuttings at any time.

PESTS: I haven't seen any on any of mine, and I'm not aware of any pests that attack Monsteras preferentially.

OTHER: They send out aerial roots at the stem nodes: the houseplant books always recommend that you try to work these down into something like moist sphagnum moss, or into the soil, but the roots are not very flexible so that's a taller order than it sounds like. The plant in general is kind of brittle -- it doesn't take a lot of force to snap off a leaf or something. Leaves will get bigger, and tend to develop more holes, if you give the plant something to climb.

I am providing a bit less light (5 feet from a west window) and water for a fuller, less sprawling plant with larger leaves...it is taking to this treatment wonderfully.
