Hey ya'll. I'm still in town. I've just been helping out over on the Holiday Forum. It's a rough stretch between Easter and 4th of July so we are decorating for Spring/Early Summer. Check out my postings and bad photography. lol but serious. I'll also be learning to mosaic to add another dimention to my totems.

Son and his girlfriend had no special announcements. He had told her years ago that she would have to get over her fear of in-laws. We dont bite...hard.

Hubs and I were exhausted but happy that they came out. I made them Scottish Shortbread in their own individual ceramic Easter Baskets.

My DIL refused to meet us when her & YDS was dating. He invited us over to the apartment without telling her is how we finally met. YDS had told her that Mom wouldn't like her because, Mom had told him, there wasn't a woman good enough for her boys! That's true, I did tell my boys that. Just didn't know it would come back & bite me!
I also told my boys that I'd train them to clean house my way but once they got married, they'd have to learn all over again. That's come true too.
I'm glad you got to meet her.
