I check my zukes about three times a day and remove any eggs I find on the leaves, be them squash bug eggs or VB eggs. If I find a SB I drop it in the soap cup. There hasnt been any for days and it seems my zuke plants are taking a rest from producing.
I spotted some moist fresh frass today. I looked closely and spotted a micro-scopic white worm, it was thinner than a strand of hair and about 1/4 inch in length. It was wiggling on the outside of the thick green base. I smooshed it.
That is a SVB. What amazed me was how TINY it was! I'm wondering how it could have made a whole tablespoon quantity of frass when it was so darn tiny. So small it was nearly impossible to see, only reason I did see it was because I saw some fresh frass.
