It is 6am....Thursday...Here's a prayer that all goes well, the doctors have the knowlege and ability, and a speedy recovery. Behave and rest and let God do the healing. Let us know how you are doing as soon as you feel up to it.

I've had that neck surgery. It gave me my life back, and I pray it will do the same for you.

My daughter has also had it and two low back surgeries...and she's a cop...on the street and doing well.

I will be praying for you to have an uneventful surgery and recovery period!

Thinking of you and wondering how you are doing. I pray for you to have an easy recovery period and for you to get your life back on track.

Before I had my fusion, I had so much pain I could barely function. I could hardly walk or use my arms without screaming and couldn't even pick up a cup of coffee with one hand! It took years for doctors to diagnose the problem...and many, many painful tests. I thought I had a brain tumor. The surgery gave me my life back!

well its been 25 days since the surgery and im feeling better! im having problems with being dizzy, im very unstable and have fallen several times. i had and xray done on the 16 to see if ive done any damage but i havent heard from the doc yet. its driving me crazy not being able to go anywhere because the fear of falling.but like i said im feeling so blessed that im feeling better and can do a little more things around the house (even some things im not supposed to do.)but when things need to be done they need to be done right?!
i want to thank all of you for the well wishes and prayers. yall are an awesome group of people!

Wow, you've had quite a time of it! I've been wondering how things were going.

I pray you will continue to heal and get back on your feet...without toppling over. What is making you dizzy? Medication?

Hang in there. It sounds like you're on the uphill-swing!

Very good news, Kathy, but please be careful not to overdo and give yourself time to really heal. The falling is scary, I hope you will feel steadier on your feet soon.

Glad to hear that you came through your surgery so well. I know how hard it is to just rest and recover. I don't do it very well myself. I always pay for it tho. I'm sure that you'll be more sensible than I am! I hope that your dizziness passes quickly!

the dizzyness could be because of the stiff collar i have to wear or the bone they used to fill the disc space might be a little too thick.it has something to do with my caroted(spelling) artry(spelling). still havent heard back from the doc.

Are you still feeling dizzy? I hope they have solved that problem for you! Be very careful, and use a walker to keep you from falling, if they haven't found the problem.
