Finally FRUIT

Hi all,

I'm very pleased to report that after 10 years or so my American persimmon tree came through with just barley what I can call a harvest. Just 5 or 6 persimmons hanging on the tree that I grafted 10 scions from Lucky and England of other verities. I did not mark them so have no idea what type survived the winter months.

I can't say with certainty that it was due to the only scion that grew and flowered this season but it was the only branch on the tree that I could see a few male flowers. The others where all female flowers like they have been for years. The fruit is just next to the surviving grafted branch.

Here are a few photos showing the tree and if you can make them out the fruit.

TREE WAS READY FOR THE AX.

Thanks for looking

Lou
