Do you rust?

well, get out in the yard and move around....just kidding.

I saw a short clip on HGTV where a lady took tin and made it rust. She sprayed it with a mild acid and set it in the sun. She sprayed a few times every day and it took a few days. She rinsed the tin and when thru with the product she made, she sealed it. I would think if it has a glaze on it like some you buy, you would have to sand a bit.

I was wondering if anyone had ever tried straight lemon juice as an acid to rust something? I heard once that you use ammonia bath and a mention of vinegar (guess that was to reverse the ammonia action). I have never tried it tho.
