hi ...

we are harvesting our potatoes (yakima, washington and the ground has not froze and i am not sure if it does ...) we harvested 100+ lbs of reds (first time planting spuds and i'm pleased with that) and about, at the most, maybe 25 lbs of russets ... the reds were looking ok, some small, some very large, but it's ok, HOWEVER, the russets are mostly small with tiny potato nubbins growing out of them ... some of the larger ones have 5 or more *potato tumors* growing out of them ....

so the question would be: what's that all about???

would love any help and suggestions ... thank you for your time ...
