My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Please tell me the color of cabinets and material of countertops.

    Check out Absolute Black, but in a "leathered" or "antiqued" finish. This has a slight texture. It looks like Soapstone, but resists fingerprints and is easier to maintain. The honed finishes in the manufactured stones also have higher maintenance issues (like fingerprinting), so the leathered Absolute Black is an excellent alternative.

      These are WoodMode Cabinets, in Nordic White. The stone top is Absolute Black, honed.

      Many thanks. I'm trying to get the honed Absolute Black in silestone because I've heard this is difficult to deal with -- fingerprints, dust, etc. Any ideas?

      I have one more question because it is so hard to see in small photos -- is the color actually a charcoal, or is it really black with a matte finish? I have found a silestone called Marengo which looks similar, but I'm afraid it will have a blah, grey, "plastic" appearance.
