Are the Phosphorus, Potassium, Ca and Mg in PPM or lbs/acre? Who did the test?

That may be the best soil test I've seen this year and I've probably seen 100 or so at this point.

The Phosphorus number is crazy high, but that's all I see that is out-of-whack. The pH is nearly perfect (perfect is pH 6.5 to 6.8). Boron is a teensy bit high. Don't play with that - the amounts between you and Boron toxicity could be measured in mere tablespoons.

The Ca:Mg ratio isn't perfect - a perfect would be between 7:1 and 10:1. But don't sweat it.

Stay away from Starter fertilizer for the forseeable future - you have a lifetime supply.

Rutgers soil testing lab, I live in NJ. It's all lbs/acre.

When I seeded my lawn last fall, I also used jonathon Green Mir-i-cal, calcium fertilizer. Is that why my calcium is so high? I also put down some starter fertilizer.

Why do you say I have a lifetime supply of starter fertilizer?

What can I do at this point? I would like to at least apply fertilizer up until memorial day or do I skip the spring and fertilize in the fall?

Ah, lbs/acre. That makes me feel better. 2 lbs/acre is 1 PPM.

A good Phosphorus number would be around 25 ppm - your's is 72 ppm. Fertilizer is fine - just use a "No-P" fertilizer for awhile.

The Calcium is fine. It's the ratio of Ca:Mg that is a little high - but nothing to worry about. 90% of the population has the opposite problem (Ca:Mg too low). That's a more problematic situation.

Stop worrying and celebrate - you're doing fine.
