Love your house. I'd keep the same color. To me, it is reading cream. Coffee and cream is wonderful combination. To lighten the house front a bit more, install slightly larger metal / wooden poles, like the little cottage's portico. Landscaping: all along the brick (garage side?) plant white flowering India Hawthorne shrubs. Leave the 2 little Christmas trees on each side of the steps and along the porch plant low growing juniper. Urns painted cream on each side of door on the porch. New door would be nice in cream.

HI -- I like your house too but it's no fun keeping it the same color if your getting new. Right now the house is looking bottom heavy ,so getting a stronger color siding will balance the overall look .I think the charcoal siding will look great and then a blue or dark orange or dark wine front door . Benjamin Moore Paints. look at " Vintage Wine "2116-20 (my fav) or "Amesterdam Blue" or "Prairie Lily R-9927 or "brulee" R9929 for the front door. Before you go with a painted door consider a medium stained Mahogany wood door. But if cost is a factor then go painted, it will look great.
