That's better than any price I've found so far. I was just browsing around looking for something to use with a gnome door as an entry to a cave.

Bird houses from gnarled wood sound interesting. Do you have pictures posted here?

We put our pond in three years ago; a 220 gallon preform. Then last year we took it out and replaced it with a 500 gallon liner pond. I would have liked to make it bigger, but we were restricted by the area it's in.

Now we keep talking about putting in a gazebo that's encircled by a pond, with a bridge access to the gazebo. We may have to keep talking for a while, though, because it will be a big, expensive project. Ponds are a lot of fun and definitely addictive!

I just found this forum yesterday and it's wonderful. I will post pictures eventually. I'm working on a bidhouse now that I really love. How big of a piece of wood are you looking for? What kind of character? Can you tell me more how you';re going to use it so I can think if I might have something here? A gnome house! How fun!

We've had two good sized ponds (About 18 ft/10 ft X 4 ft deep) We absolutely loved them. Right now though we're in a new house (to us) and are completely redoing the back yard with no pond since we're traveling so much.

Well, at this point I'm not really sure what I need. I've just been looking around for ideas, but thanks!

I sometimes have pieces that are just oo big for what I'm doing, and I'd be happy to share. I usually use smaller pieces not more than 7 inches or so. Good luck with your project! I hope to see a photo of your gnome house soon. ALSO, your pond/gazebo project sounds awesome. I hope you can do it!
