Pollination between different avocados?

I have a hass avocado started from seed two years ago that is about 3' tall and I just purchased a nursery grafted Bragdon avocado. I realize these are different varieties (the leaves are totally different), but was wondering if they would be a pollination aid for each other? BTW, I am attempting to grow them near the NE Fl coast. Any clue how the hass might do?

Avocados come in A or B for pollination purposes. For best results one of each is required. It is a matter of the pollen being released when the female is receptive. With a seedling you will have no way of knowing what you have and several years before knowing if you will have fruit. Your local county extension service should be able to answer questions regarding your chances of success in your climate. Al

I love this website for checking out avocado varieties, it has all kinds of information, including pictures of the fruits and whether they are A or B varieties.
