Very pretty! Ever since my sister had a glass votive holder explode on her kitchen counter, I have been leary of leaving any glass holders unattended. A co-worker had his bathroom start on fire when a votive candle got out of control. It makes those battery operated ones look more attractive all the time!

Wonderful idea!! GF & I are making dragonflies & butterflies with wire twisted like that!!, It really makes a great hanger!! Jan

Great idea....now, where did I stash my insulators?? ;-)

SWEET!! Another great use for our insulators!!

How is the wire attached to the insulator? Very cute idea! Jeanne S.

Kirk, My GF & hubby are up there & went to TS this weekend & found an insulator on sale. I told her about what you did with yours! She'll probably make 1 up there!! I told her about Olivia's sign & cute ladybugs too & beds, forgot to tell her about the tool holder. I was wondering if you go all around it under the top ridge & then go up from there??? Did you use aluminum wire? Jan

Thank you for the nice comments!!!! You made our day! We used 18 gauge aluminum wire and doubled it as we twisted it with the drill. We wrapped wire around the groove in the insulator and secured it. Then, we attached a separate wire for the handle. To add extra support, we ran a wire across the opening of the insulator and attached it to the handle. Easy, fun and rewarding! We've been getting all of these projects done but SADNESS as I start back to meetings, etc. tomorrow. Where did the summer go? So glad we had time to get away in August this year on our vacation! ENJOY! Kirk
