Local people recommended using Water Saver Seed Blend to establish a small, new grassy section in my back yard. In February this year I used Preen granuals in this section to get rid of weed seeds. The Preen Rep. told me it would take about 10 weeks before I could sow seed. O.K. I waited much longer than that due to weather changes. I sowed the water-saver seed on May 25, 07, after having added and working in about 2" of compost. Our temperatures are starting to go up, now in the mid to high 80's, water the area at least 4 times a day. It is now 6 days later and there is no sign of any grass, is this normal? Anything else I need to do? TIA for suggestions and/or any help! Pat
