Wow! What a beautiful room, I see why she loves it. It doesn't show the entire room, so we can't tell what is on the other side. What is most important is that you have the room to do this treatment and for the other things that she needs. You could have little niches built into the pink rectangles, but they would not be very deep and it would spoil the look it they were full of stored items but they could have mirrored backs and you could put a few decorative items in them. As far as storage is concerned, you could have a platformed bed built with storage underneath, drawers would be nice. You could have a chest at the end of the bed for storage. You could have the closet designed to use the space wisely, most closets waste a lot of space. You could have an "entertainment" center built on the opposite wall (or where ever would work for you) to hold books and school supplies, maybe a small tv, radio. Have a carpenter build two table tops on hinges that can be used for homework and makeup, you could use decorative corbels or brackets to hold up the table tops when they were being used and they could fold underneath when not in use. You could create a bench under the window that opens for extra storage too. Keep to the color pallet; paint all the wood white, the walls that dove gray and keep accessories in the hot pink, also might add just a touch of lime green for a super modern look. Just make sure there is a place for everything to be put away. And don't rely on conventional containers, but shop at the Sally shop and flea markets for items you could re-purpose. Have fun!

Have you checked IKEA? 2 Stolmen mirror units on each side of bed. 117 each = 234. You could paint them pink, but I think they'd classier left white. You can add pink to other less permanent areas that can be easily changed when / if she tires of pink. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S19875628/ On opposite side of bed plan a wall of IKEA units for a desk / vanity and storage cabinets. A list would be helpful and a floor plan showing sq. ft. & windows, closet, door(s). Also does she like night tables and lamp(s) etc. I had 2 teenage DDs, so a word of caution: unless she's a neat-nik, the room will probably never be pristine / clutter-less no matter how much you spend on storage or plan...

invest in nice built-ins made for your needs. Worth every penny you spend. Now you can show off and or hide what you want. This room was easy for us to copy. Remember it doesn't have to be the the same nightstand from the same store or vendor. It's the idea and the design your coping not everything down to it's final nail color. We had so much fun with this room and it looks the same as in the picture. We shopped Target, BB&B, Lamps Plus, Wayfair, Overstock.com and found a good match for the decal at Uppercase Living. We hired a cabinet maker who built much needed storage and a desk.

Forgot to mention My husband and I made the mirror artwork from wood and trim then painted. We also made the headboard using a sparkly vinel shimmy silver fabric from Jo Ann's fabric and craft store.
