I planted 2 columnar apple trees three years ago and they have never produced any flowers. They look healthy.... I read online that many times they will produce the first year. I haven't pruned them....should I? They have some tiny (like 4") branches growing off the main trunk, but I saw some branches like that on the pictures online so I left them on... What could I do to maybe get them to produce some flowers next spring? Or should I just keep waiting?
