I detest chipmunks as much as I detest squirrels. I killed 13 of them in my greenhouse a couple of springs back, got about 5 or 6 this year.

A few years ago I had chipmunks eating a hole in every peach and apricot in the trees. Finally I ordered a "Rat Zapper" online. That summer I trapped 54 chipmunks. Stunning, because I never saw more than two at a time. In successive years I have trapped a declining number of chipmunks. This past year my fruit was without chipmunk bites. Love that Rat Zapper. I do live in the city.

Thank you so very much maj742. This is exactly why I like to keep checking back in on this forum. Great looking option right there. I checked em out online after first seeing your reply. I've been wondering what effective approach to take against my own expanding chipster population. They really marauded my grapes this past season. Plus have turned out to be quite the little diggers too. So something has got to give. And I hope it is them next year by putting one of these to great use. Thx again,,,q-3
