What a difference a day makes...

Woke up @ 4:00 am to 0*F. Packed, got in the car, went to the airport, endured some delays (our flight out of Madison was delayed because the plane's water lines froze and then broke, flooding the cabin) missed our connection, made the next one, checked in to the resort in Naples. It's 80* and muggy.

Steve has meetings until 9:00 tonight so I believe I'll indulge in a much needed nap and some room service and meet him afterwards... then he has meetings until early tomorrow afternoon so I believe I will schedule a massage for myself (still sore from the sledding fun), and do a little shopping...

This vacation thing is OK. Wanna see the view from the balcony?

WOW - fabulous! I didn't know you were going to Naples.

Order something wonderful for dinner. Tomorrow you need to shop for a fabulous pair of shoes. Keep us updated on this thread - do a little travelogue.

Ooops....look, I just turned pea green with envy.

I'll be arriving in Tampa tomorrow to visit DD, can't wait for some warm weather...enjoy Jaz...im looking forward to relaxing and just chilling for the weekend.

What a great place for a break from dog sledding. LOL Yes..you have to get a pair of shoes and then show them to us. Have a great time and have a rum drink for me.

It's beautiful... and what an enjoyable change of climate.

No rum; Italy is for wine. And seafood. And desserts. And almost anything made in leather... get a purse to go with the shoes.

Michelle, What a beautiful view and the weather is gorgeous. I am SO glad someone gets to enjoy nice weather. Especially when that someone braves the Minnesota winter. Soak it up and try not to make the aligators look bad when you put them in a Full Nelson!

Be sure to duck into a bakery and have some Sfogliatelle. It's a specialty around Naples.

Naples is my most favorite place in the world!

Say Hi to The Edgewater Beach Hotel for me----sigh.

Old, but beautiful music, beautiful drinks---just beautiful....

And there was a cool little place to eat kind of near the art shops----outside, on the patio---late night-----great food---market umbrellas, people strolling in the night. I've even dreamed about that scene a number of times.

Michelle, I hope you enjoy every minute of your stay..
