I apologize for the mistake with the date. My " 8" and "7" are stuck and I keep forgetting to hit them harder.

I guess he/she could be talking about me. Last winter was a terrible time for me. I was afraid that I was not going to be able to do certain things in my garden. But surprisingly I am able to do them so far. I am even ordering more gladiolus bulbs today and this week Margaret and I rebuilt a flower bed badly need of repair. But I still hate change. Steve in Baltimore County.

Why is change almost always so hard? We know that nothing ever stays the same, and we wouldn't want it to. Is it fear of the unknown that keeps us clinging to what's familiar?

If I thought my two new great-grandsons would not grow up to be strong, handsome young men, I'd be very sad. Of course, it also makes me sad that change will mean I probably won't be around to see that happen.
