Success

It started with a rose that was doing bad and worse every year, a rose that has been in the family for over 100 years. In response to all my relatives saying that theirs had all died and I had the last of it. I went into a study on making a brown thumb green , it isn't easy is it? With the help of the garden web, I tested all my soils in the rose garden ,in the other gardens and also the lawn. What I found out was how horrible my soil condition was here. And since I live in 3 1/2 acres of large oak, I thought all the soil would be acid but it wasn't , most was terribly alkaline. So I decided to fix it organically . Sulfur, soybean meal, hardwood ash where I could ,high potassium custer feldspar where I couldn't and bone meal. Rose has come back, the other garden have never looked so good and the front yard is green green green. So my questions are first ,when the rose bush blooms, I get many ROSE CURCULIOS/WEEVILS is there a good organic solution and also on fertilizing ,should I fertilize again, this year, in the rose garden the other gardens and the lawn . And do I need all (NPK) or just Nitrogen
