Lilo, that was just what I needed. Now my stomach hurts from laughing.

That first one was my sig for a long time, Lilo, and I still love it. And the mice one is terrific--serves those weirdos right!

I think the interesting thing about cats, and I've had them as well as dogs ever since I was a child,is that they are just as affectionate and needy for companionship as dogs. Anyone who has one knows their signals but if you don't..they just seem distant. Rootie Kazootie will come up to me and very quietly take his paw and hit me over and over again on the leg until I pick him up. Ferrell will lie down on the floor. To an outsider..that would mean nothing but lying on the floor means pick me up. Once you get into their heads, you can read them like a book.

Marda, I have to agree. We have a couple of needy cats, one that sits in the window whimpering whenever DH goes out of the house & another who refuses to get off our bed unless she is physically removed. These two are also incredibly jealous of the dog & their ways of acting out are pretty comical to observe.
