The problem is made worse when a search of the RHS Orchid Database gives no results for Henry Wang. Are you sure that is what is written on the plant tag?

Last week I was at a local orchid nursery and the vendor showed me an orchid she purchased at Redlands Orchid Festival that looks so much like the pic.She said it comes from Jamaica and comes in different colors.I cannot remember the name she told me but when I saw it I thought it was another type of plant.It really was an orchid when I took a good look at it.Only from Jamaica she said.

I just looked at Hamlyn Orchids, a Jamaican orchid vendor, website and saw orchids similar to the pic . They're called broughtonias, never heard of them.I could be mistaken, maybe someone with more expertise can clarify.

Yes, the above photo is of a broughtonia or a hybrid with one. There are no multi-genera hybrid grex names that start with Get.

On Hamlyn's site some of the names start with Grt. or Gct.I haven't a clue.

Shavedmonkey, the orchids were so lovely in all the colors they came in.I got out of there real fast and didn't look back.lol
