Being impatient & not watering frequently enough.

When did you seed?

Keep it wet. I did mine two weeks ago and water 3 times a day. I have good growth except for the areas that get the most sun are lagging a little behind.

Wet but no puddles. Keep moving along, with that hose and nozzle. No puddles. Mist it, and move along. You want it moist, but don't want to float that seed, as doing so will likely kill it. Same with the sprouts, just after they pop out. There's no root to hold it down (the root hasn't grown yet, has it?) and you only want to mist it.

Now I'm thinking I must have drowned it out. Most of my front yard had no noticeable new grass and it's been two weeks. I think I'm going to reseed tomorrow. What do you think?
