So, if you ready my trip report, I brought home a new phal yesterday. In the past when i've brought home new phals I haven't been too concerned about bugs... they were in somewhat sterile environments. However, this one came from a grower (which I thought would have been better but I was wrong) and there were lots of spiders and things flying around in the greenhouse. So, as a precaution, I've left the phal out on my balcony until I find out what to spray it with.

I just want to give the pot a good dousing of something to make sure that if there is any bugs they die before I bring in the plant. Can I just spray the moss with insecticidal soap? Or should I use something else? Thanks!
