If you want Riviera, waiting until spring will be fine. Unlike cool season grasses, the best time to plant bermudagrass seed is when it's really hot... like June/July... soils temps need to exceed 70 degrees... If you were thinking of fall seeding/overseeding like what's done with KBG's & TTTF's, forget it... you won't get germination.

Yes, I'm certainly planning on waiting until spring. The problem is, when spring arrives, Riviera won't be available. Princess looks to be in very short supply as well. These were my top two choices. That's why I'm trying to assertain how Blackjack stacks up

Blackjack is a good choice but Yukon would be better.
