Please Help- Info Needed on Pump?

Hello,

My question is for a 'fountain' pump....My husband is making me a fountian from a ceramic pot that is about 38" tall. Then of course it has a reservoir box that is about 14" deep where the pump sits. What size of pump do we need to push water up to bubble out the top???

We are newbies at this so we apprecitate you help.

It all depends on how you want the water to bubble out. Gently, modaretly or very bubbly. Most pumps give a lift volume on the box.
