Sequence self priming model 4200PRM15, 1/4 hp, 242 watts. It has an integrated strainer basket. It has now been running 24/7 for 4 years. No problems (knock on wood). We have a 1900 gal. pond.

My submersible is a Tsurumi and my externals are WLim.

My pump was professionally installed by a pond building company/landscape designer. The pond builder said out of all pumps he has used/installed, he likes the Tsurumi best because it lasts longer than others. He uses one in his own pond. He said he hasn't had any issues with this brand and highly recommends it. He said other brands have failed only after 2-3 yrs and this brand seems to keep going. I've only had it about 8 months. It fits nicely in my skimmer box and has very strong suction. The Tsurumi pump is connected to the PVC as shown below.

Pondmaster Supreme 2400 gph submersible. A work horse. I use it 24/7 going on 5 years.

Not personally pleased with Tsurumi pumps right now. Have had 3 new ones in 45 days. Guess we got a batch of lemons.

Pondmaster Supreme 950. I've only had a year but it's been going non stop and I chose it on strong recommendation from this board.

My Tsurumi is going on 3 years and no problems. I wonder if Aquasacape's involvement in it in the last couple of yeard has produced a batch of lemons.

For a small pump, I LOVE Danner Pondmaster pumps. I have three of fhe 1800 gph ones and a small one that have all been running for around 6 years. I use these on various quarantine tanks and smaller ponds. On the big pond, I have W. Lim Pumps (1/16 hp, 1/4 hp and 1/6 hp). The Lim pumps are extremely quiet and efficient, although pretty expensive. I am also running a small sequence pump on one pond, 3000 gph sorry I am not sure of the model number on that one. It's a great pump too!!

Ya'll really don't want to know how much my electric bill is with all these pumps running.....lol!!!
