I have a 300 in-ground Rubbermaid stock tank pond. I use a small-ish pump and I wash out the 2 filters on the pump (one blue, one black) every so often. Is there any reason to, at some point, buy new filters? I was reading up on it and it sounds like they might work fine, until they start disintegrating. Mine aren't disintegrating......but I guess I always thought they should be replaced every so often, even if they aren't disintegrating. What would you do? Thanks!
