I've got one about the same size. I've been following directions on these two pages

and I'm jealous; I had three good looking seeds, but only one sprouted.

I actually had no files so I used cheese grater (the nutmeg side) that took along time! I also have it sat on edge of a light so I can provide the heat.

I also found agood site but that uses clay. the soil where I live is medium to heavy clay.
