Butter yellow would be its compliment and make it "pop". Or go close on the color wheel and add a soft blue.

Love yellow and lilac. But some other nice combos are lilac with grays and whites, or lilac with blues and whites:

Lilac purple looks good with periwinkle, cornflower blue, denim, navy, indigo, any gray- or purple-based white or cream, thistle, silver or any purple-based gray, green, tan, brown or black. The colors could be used like:

1. Lilac walls, white trim and ceiling, navy furniture, lilac and white accessories
2. Indigo walls, periwinkle ceiling and trim, lilac furniture/linens, lilac and periwinkle accessories
3. Charcoal gray walls, light gray ceiling and trim, silver furniture, lilac accessories
4. Tan walls, lilac trim and ceiling, brown furniture, lilac accessories
5. Cream walls/ceiling/trim, black or brown furniture, green and lilac accessories

Best,
Shari

Lavender goes well with a mint color, and you might want to add a neutral.
